Alexander the Great

This page is dedicated to my little dog.

He is a dog of many names. When I brought him home, I named him Alec, with a "c". Because he is part rat terrier, the family began to call him "rat dog". My neighbor, Mrs. Nash can't get it through her head that his name is Alec and not Alex. So she knows it must be short for Alexander the Great. Now I've even began calling him Alexander the Great.

I got him from a breeder in the mountains. Rat Dog was born on April Fools day, and is half Yorkie and half Rat Terrier. He loves to eat cat food and chase squirrels. Our cat Annabelle Lee is his best friend, and she always gives him a bath, like a good momma cat. We call him her "kitten dog." Over all, I'd say he lives a dog's life.

We found out he has food allergies after he lost most of his hair. So I had to buy him some clothes, like the brown jacket and yellow rain coat. Now that we don't feed him dog food anymore, (only cooked meat like duck) his hair has grown back.
